Zwei Wochen zuvor hatte uns ein nicht mehr enden wollender Regen einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht. <br><br>Die Pfalz ist wirklich sch\u00f6n. Endlose W\u00e4lder, Weitblick, interessante Sandsteinfelsen &#8211; die auch zum Klettern taugen &#8211; und viele nette Menschen. Da kam tats\u00e4chlich so etwas wie Urlaubsfeeling auf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>It took us a second try to go through this 20k hike. Our first try two weeks ago was drowning in the rain.<br>The &#8222;Pfalz&#8220; is a nice region in the northern Vosges with huge woods in a beauitiful landscape. Diese stehen meistens auf einem Sandsteinfelsen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Around 11am we started hiking to the Weglenburg. The first of 7 &#8222;castles&#8220; we came by. Er sorgte auch daf\u00fcr, dass es nach frischem Pinienwald und abk\u00fchlendem Sand roch. Das erinnerte stark an den Weg durch die D\u00fcnen in Frankreich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Suddenly a short rain gave us a welcome refreshing shower. Immer wieder f\u00fchrte unser Weg entlang der Grenzsteine zu Frankreich. Unsere Mittagspause legten wir am Caf\u00e9 des 4 Ch\u00e2teaux in Frankreich, an der Burg Fleckenstein ein. Diese kostet leider Eintritt, das lie\u00dfen wir aber sein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Here and then, our hike was just along the border to france. At Caf\u00e9 des 4 Ch\u00e2teaux, located in france we had our break. From there you can hike up to the castle &#8222;Fleckenstein&#8220;. Diese Tour ist wirklich zu empfehlen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The last castle was really impressive. Zur Erfrischung gab es ein Bad im K\u00f6nigsweiher und ein Bier auf dem Dorffest, bevor es wieder nach Hause ging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After ca. 7 hours we arrived in Sch\u00f6nau, where we had a refreshing bath in the K\u00f6nigsweiher.
