Just an 1,5 hours drive away from Stuttgart you will find the beautiful Wildsee. The small lake is part of a swamp area in the northern Black Forest. Even there were a lot people around on Sunday – if you find the right angle the lake really looks „wild“.
I started my hike right above the lake. On a small steep path you will find the way down to the lake. As I reached the lake I stoped for a short break.
Heading north in direction of the Hornisgrinde, where we were earlier this year I hiked about 8km. From there on my tour made a turn, back to my starting point. The way back followed a mountain ridge with some beautiful view into the Black Forest.
Back at the car I decided to have a bath in the cold Murg. This is my little tradition of visiting the Black Forest.
