Da ich im Moment daran arbeite mein Musikzimmer einzurichten, dachte ich mir, ich könnte auch einen schönen Gitarrenständer aus Holz bauen, der dann gut in dieses Zimmer passt.
As I am working on my music-/recording room these days, I came up with the idea of making a wooden guitar stand.
Aus einer Eichenbohle, die ich aus dem Baumarkt hatte, sägte ich die Latten. anschließend legte ich den Winkel fest und sägte die Endstücke zu. Die beiden V-Stücke sind am Ende verdübelt und geleimt.
Danach legte ich den Winkel fest, in dem die beiden V-Stücke ineinander gesteckt werden. Ich habe dabei nicht bedacht, dass eine gewisse Neigung auch wichtig ist, damit der Ständer später nicht nach vorn kippt. Zum Glück hat es aber gerade noch so geklappt.
Nach einiger Zeit des try and error, passten die Stücke dann ziemlich gut ineinander. Zuletzt erfolgten noch kleine Feinarbeiten und Anpassungen bevor das Leinöl das Holz in neuem Glanz erstrahlen ließ.
At first I started cutting out the bars from an board of oak, I bought in the building supply store. I had to set the angle of the V-forms and started cutting them out. The are fixed with dowels and glue.
Next I had to set the angle of the V-forms getting together. I did not think about that the stand could fall over, if the angle is too flat. Luckily it worked out.
Then I started cutting out the notch where the V-form come together. It was a try and error thing, but at the end it was a nice and tight fit.
At the end I used linseed oil to get the shiny look.
